Nick Dubin was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome in 2004 by a
neuropsychologist. For the past 4 years, he has been a
passionate advocate on issues related to bullying with regards to
the autism spectrum. Mr. Dubin has a Bachelor’s degree in
communications from Oakland University, a Masters degree in
special education from the University of Detroit Mercy and a
Specialist degree from the Michigan School of Professional
Psychology, where he is currently pursuing his Doctorate in
psychology. His work has been praised by Stephen Shore, Carol
Gray and Michael John Carley. Mr. Dubin is the author of two
books and the producer of three DVD’s, all relating to the autism
spectrum. Dubin has been featured in Hour Detroit Magazine,
Signature Magazine, Radio Disney, The Detroit News, National
Public Radio and on Fox 2 (Detroit). Currently, Mr. Dubin is working
on his newest book pertaining to stress management for adults
with Asperger's, which will be published through Jessica Kingsley
Publishers in 2009. Dubin is also a contributor to the Autism-
Asperger Digest and has presented at over 45 conferences and
seminars, including being the keynote speaker for the Autism
Society of Michigan’s fall conference and a presenter at the
Autism Society of America’s national conference. He looks
forward to presenting to your organization.
